Wash it with good soap and toothbrush since body jewelry is small and needs to be cleaned minutely.
After wash immerse it in a disinfectant like Dettol or Savlon.
Wash it with clean water again.
Dry it with towel, try to put it in hot sun for complete sterilization.
I soak mine in Peroxide for 10 minutes, then let them soak in Alcohol for another 10 minutes. After the alcohol, rinse them good with water and dry as good as you can.

The only way to sterilize something is to use an autoclave which costs a lot. But to clean them good just use some antibacterial soap
