Can you wear body jewelry while getting teeth pulled?

I have a ****** ring, and I’m getting 4 teeth pulled on Thursday. The dentist says you can’t wear any jewelry while under anesthesia. Its no where near my mouth but, I heard you can’t have body jewelry in because you could get a burn from the metal if they use electrocautery. But I also have braces, which are metal, so should I be ok to leave in my ****** ring? Should I put in a plastic barbell instead of a metal one just to be safe?

    wow never heard of that before, dam lol 11 piercing what you cant see and i go to the dentist every 6 months best check next time.

    yes you can the has nothing to do with you mouth, now if you have jewelry around you mouth then no
