Looking for a good way to sanitize body jewelry?

I have been boiling my body jewelry to kill the germs and what not on them…. is this an effect way to sanitize them?
my tongue rings are what I’m really looking to sanitize, I’ve read online that Rubbing alcohol could break the acrylic balls

    The best way to sanitize your tongue ring is to dip it into 3% hydrogen and keep it there for 5-10 minutes. You can buy it at every pharmacy, and it wont damage it in any way. That’s what I do with my tongue and lip ring.

    Use Bactine… it kills germs and sanitizes my body jewelry. I actually got it from the Body Piercing place, but you can get it almost anywhere. Works great!

    a cup of bleach and water
    a splash to a cup and 10 min later it should be squeaky clean
    or
    hydrogen peroxide in a dish or cup leave it until the bubbles stop coming off the items
    or
    rubbing alcohol in a dish or cup same as above 10 min,

    you will want to rinse all items and air dry on a clean towel

    use rubbing alcohol. you can either pour some in a dish and let the jewelry sit in it (that’s what i do) or you can soak a cotton ball in it and rub the cotton ball all over the jewelry
