What is a reasonable return policy for earrings that are sold online?

I have come across several sets of pierced earrings that I intend to sell on eBay. I have sold a lot of stuff on eBay, but I have never sold any jewelry before and I’m not sure what to expect. What is a reasonable return policy for pierced earrings that are sold online? Do I have to worry about hygiene issues? What would most people expect? What can I do and still be competitive? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Well they shouldn’t be worn by that person. Yes it is hygiene issues because that person is piercing their skin. It is not good to wear this. When I want to wear my mom’s earrings (She has an illness) I bleach the part that goes through the ear for about a couple of minutes. Not too long or they will rust. That is the best i can tell you.
