How do I place a value on gold from jewelry that has had the stones removed?

We have some old jewelry from which someone has removed the diamonds etc. We wouldlike to sell the remaining gold ilver netc. How do we come up with a fair price and where can we sell the jewelry?

    Find out the weight of the gold, the find the value of the kind of gold you have (10k, 24k etc) multiply them together. You have the appoximate value.

    Gold is sold by the ounce. Find out the cirrent market value for gold and that’s where you get your price.

    you need to take it to a jeweler. you can get it melted down and make something nice for yourself as well
