Everyone understands that you aren't going to change your wedding band according to what you are wearing. If you can't wear gold because you are allergic (like I am) I have found that I can wear gold that is under 10k or when it's coated with clear nail polish. You can purchase some inexpensive 10k gold jewelry at a place like Target or Walmart and just coat it with a single coat of clear nail polish and let that dry before you put it on. Otherwise, I wouldn't wear any jewelry besides the wedding band.
