I think you should wear a pop of color. Gold and silver are always appropriate. but you didn’t indicate the color of the dress. If it’s black, a ruby or garnet pendant and earrings would make you the center of attention and would give it the pop that makes it stand out. Your favorite piece of jewelry is always your best option if it’s a special occasion.
Silver, and probably keep it fairly simple, similar to what the model has on.
Lovely dress. I would recomend since you already are wearing black shoes to add some color maybe red, green or blue jewelery to match your date if you want to. Don’t be affraid to make it stand out….remember black goes with anything!!! if your date is wearing a blue shirt is fine, is not like you have to match each other. Have Fun!

Definitely silver jewelry. Silver looks much better than gold with a dress like that. I don’t think it would look bad if your date wore a blue shirt. Light blue would look WAYYY batter than dark blue though.
Silver would be fine even with black shoes. The blue shirt would look great beside you, because the silver would reflect the blue…
